Food Distribution

Interested in registering for our next food distribution?

Each food distribution is held on the 3rd Friday of each month. Doors open at 6pm. To help distribute our groceries fairly between families each month, we currently use a lottery system to determine the order of distribution.

Would you like to serve your local community this month?

There are multiple ways to serve for our local Food Distribution! 

We currently have two volunteer shifts:

Morning Shift (Approx. 6am - 2pm)
This team will meet at 6am on the morning of the food distribution. We drive approx. 2 hrs to a ministry location that allows us to purchase the food at discounted rates. Those serving with this shift will travel to Lancaster, PA and pick up/pack/stack food as needed. After picking up food for the distribution, the team will return and unload the items for our next shift to organize. 

Evening Shift (Approx. 4:30pm-7:30pm)
This team will come in and help organize all items for the distribution. After organizing the items, those serving will help clean up the area of any remaining trash and debris. There is usually a short meeting with pizza provided to eat and then pray for the upcoming event. After the meeting, we encourage those serving to meet with any families who are present in our waiting area and just love on them.
